The Main Source, LLC operates StateLine DMS. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Account data: your name, dealership name, license number, address, email, phone, and password (stored only as a salted hash). Business data you enter: vehicles (VINs, mileage, prices), customers (names, addresses, phone, driver's license numbers, dates of birth), deals, signatures, temporary-tag and title numbers. Lead data: if you use the free Deadline Calculator, the email, dealership, phone, and sale date you submit. Technical data: IP address, browser, and usage logs.
Customer driver's-license numbers and signatures are sensitive. We store them encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, restrict access to your account only, and never use them for anything other than generating your documents.
To provide the Service; to generate documents you request; to calculate deadlines; to bill you (via Stripe); to send service emails (trial status, deadline reminders if enabled, receipts); to respond to support requests; and to improve the product using aggregated, de-identified usage data.
Card details are entered directly with Stripe, Inc. and never touch our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs that data.
If you use the Georgia Auto AI assistant, the text you type is sent to a third-party language-model provider to generate a reply. Do not enter customer driver's-license numbers or other sensitive personal data into the assistant.
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the Service (hosting, database, Stripe, email, AI provider), each bound by confidentiality, or when required by law.
Account and business data are kept while your account is active and for 90 days after closure, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete sooner or law requires longer retention (e.g., tax records). Leads are kept up to 24 months.
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing us. Georgia and Florida residents and users elsewhere may have additional rights under applicable law; we honor reasonable requests regardless of location.
Hashed passwords, role-based access, per-dealer data isolation, TLS everywhere. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately of any suspected breach.
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
